Location: Inverness, Westhill
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Part-time
Salary: £12.60 – £13.25

The Role:
We are looking for a caring, dedicated, and a patient Support Worker. In this role, you will assist individuals living in either the six-bedroom home or the four-bedroom home. Your goal will be to help them achieve personal objectives, develop essential life skills, and engage with their community. You will play a crucial role in promoting independence and ensuring that the individuals you support lead happy and healthy lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with mild learning disabilities.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including basic personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Support individuals in accessing community activities and building social networks.
  • Encourage and assist with the development of life skills, independence, and confidence.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and professionals to create tailored support plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.

About You:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude.
  • Commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and inclusion.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word & SharePoint.
  • Full/clean driver’s licence is essential and access to own vehicle.
